We have recently filmed a vintage styled shoot in Lichtenstein Castle, Hout bay, located between mountains and overlooking the ocean. This luxurious venue fit for royal celebrations was a perfect place for the vintage theme.
The shoot has been styled with various elements of the bygone era, however the vintage theme was made more playful with added textures and bright colors. This styled shoot was a collaboration between industry professionals working together on new aspirational ideas. As always it has been a great pleasure working with the brilliant destination wedding coordinator Tracy Branford from Trunk Events. Incredibly creative Simon and Shan from Thunder and Love photography made the photos.
Angie from My Pretty Vintage used moody colors to elevate the overall feel through flowers and décor. Marle, our flawless model wore a beautiful lace dress created by Marietjie from La Belle Mariee and a stunning wedding dress featuring a cape designed by Tashreeqah Sadien. Each one of these vintage-style wedding dresses had their own unique details and character which suited the theme stunningly. Marle’s Hair and Makeup were perfected by Estelle Pretorius Makeup and Hair Artist who did two different looks – a more natural, understated makeup look and a dramatic makeup look for the bold and daring bride. The Pink book brought together the team for this styled shoot.
Here is what Tracy from Trunk Events had to say about working with Fine Art Wedding Film
“What a talented team to work with. As a wedding planner we love working with Desmond and his team and highly recommend them to all couples and anyone investing in memories of their special day.”
