Their celebration brought together multiple cultures, traditions, and families over several days in the Austin area. From vibrant pre-wedding ceremonies to an elegant evening celebration, their wedding was designed as a full experience rather than just a single event.

A Wedding Weekend in Austin
The celebrations began in Austin at Amala Sanctuary, where Shriya and Moez hosted their vibrant pre-wedding ceremonies. Friends and family gathered early in the morning for traditional celebrations filled with color, laughter, and meaningful rituals.
The intimate setting of Amala Sanctuary created the perfect atmosphere for these ceremonies. Guests enjoyed brunch together after the ceremonies, celebrating the couple with music, conversation, and joyful moments that set the tone for the entire weekend.
Many guests stayed nearby at Hotel ZaZa Austin, making the wedding weekend feel like a destination celebration in the heart of Austin.
A Texas Hill Country Ceremony at Mae’s Ridge
The main wedding celebration took place in the stunning Texas Hill Country at Mae’s Ridge.
Located just outside Austin in Dripping Springs wine country, Mae’s Ridge is known for its sweeping views, modern architecture, and incredible ceremony spaces overlooking the hills.
For Shriya and Moez, the venue became the backdrop for a beautiful combination of traditions. Their wedding day included multiple ceremonies, honoring both families and faith traditions, culminating in a joyful evening celebration with friends and loved ones.
A Celebration Designed for Joy
From the beginning, Shriya and Moez envisioned their wedding film as something unique.
Instead of telling the story in strict chronological order, they wanted a cinematic film that blended moments from across the entire weekend — weaving together rings, garlands, ceremonies, dancing, and celebrations.
Moments from different traditions could sit side by side in the film, showing the full emotional journey of the weekend.
One of the most memorable moments came during their first dance when Moez lifted Shriya — despite her stunning 10-pound gown — creating a spontaneous and joyful moment that perfectly captured their fun-loving personalities.
